It is a cultural encounter, to connect with the local culture of Costa Rica and with your own dance. 

DanceHall is the name of music and dance coming from the "dance halls" or "dance rooms". They are spaces where meetings are generated in popular in Jamaican culture. Free space expression and release of desire through the body. 

Jamaican influence lands in Puerto Viejo, in the Caribbean of Costa Rica. Dance exudes a sense of self-affirmation and empowerment. Sensuality and strength through every move. The contribution of Afro-descendant culture in Costa Rich, it is a manifesto of how its people move. They teach us through dance how they live and in. 

What is your philosophy of life-based on? 

The Dancehall & Afrobeats session is a meeting culture, a space that converges the movement, the expression and connection with the body and the present. 

It is a shared space of movement, experimentation, and liberation through the force that represents each step and the story behind of all those who danced those same movements. I call the dance a moving meditation and for that, you have to prepare the body to receive and to give. The whole world will pause, we are where we have to be, we will do breathing cycles to oxygenate our body and get warm our lungs. An intention will guide this moment. I recognized your body, I recognized your space. Recognize the unfolding of your body in space. I discovered your limits, your potential. The body wakes up, I felt the heat. We dance, at all times. we live because our heart beats, sets the rhythm for us, our rhythm. It keeps us on. 

What if we hear? At this moment begins your dance and our creation. We will end with a circle of fire so that each one proposes a movement that represents it, and that is born from its own unique inner drum. Meditation and stretching. We will use our breath to go through every corner of our body. Opening, delivery, pampering, and a massage. A hug and many kisses to thank the body who gave everything and gave us.
