Nicolás Ibargüen
Nicolás Ibargüen is an environmentalist, producer, winner of two Emmy Awards. He was the environment correspondent for Fusion and Univisión. In addition, it organizes expeditions and events with world leaders to publicize our relationship with the planet. He produced the award-winning documentary "Amazon Gold" and his last documentary in which he was executive producer "When Lambs Become Lions" was selected by the Tribeca Film Festival in 2018. He was director of the Planet Initiative of the Americas Business Council Foundation, an organization that supports innovative projects of social and environmental impact. and is a member of the board of Humane Society International. He was editor of the magazine Poder.
Manuela Mejía
Manuela is an intuitive musician, singer and composer that creates healing music for the soul. She has learned from different masters and Yogis in USA and India, from which she has gone deep into the power of kirtan and mantra. Her music is a mix of mantra, sacred hymns from different cultures and original music and soundscapes that bring peace, light and love to the heart and soul. She works as a guide to find re-connection through music, meditation and conscious breath. She is a certified Skanda Yoga Teacher, with Yoga Alliance, and Co-founder of Suaha and @lovetob
Diego Dosal
A visionary, consciousness explorer, adventurer, rebel, misfit and dream maker. Diego is an infinite source of creation and inspiration, a leader and teacher thriving through lifting others. Co-Founder of Grupo Arca, the largest stone and wood wholesaler and retailer in Latin America, and Constru Deck, a company dedicated to the import of sustainable wood materials, he is now one of the co-creators of Zunya, looking to inspire others in a regenerative conscious way of living.
Sara Montes
Sara, founder of Gaya Immersions, is a dedicated student of yogic traditions and ancient wisdom. Her life was given to travels and studies to understand human condition and mind liberation. She was advisor for the minister of tourism of East Timor, developing the UNWTO plan against poverty and co-founding the NGO Travel for a Better World. She has in the curriculum several courses of Meditation and more than 700h of Teacher Trainings by Yoga Alliance International. Since 2011 has been guided through Plant Medicines, holding space in several ceremonies. She is intuitive and her teachings are focused in a practical and modern way of living. Founder of Gaya since 2016, Sara has been curating innovative projects combining ancient wisdom and modern technologies all over the world.

You will be immersed in a 33 hectares untouched jungle sanctuary. Zunya is located on the southernmost tip of the Nicoya Peninsula, on the pacific coast of Costa Rica, in a small village called Malpais. It is north of the Cabo Blanco Nature Reserve and south of Santa Teresa. Known for its spectacular beaches, bordered by the crystal waters of the Pacific Ocean on one end, and by a covey of jungle-covered hills on the other, Malpais is a natural haven for all. Rich in biodiversity, the town’s unique wildlife is another allure for visitors to enjoy.

- We follow cleansing and sanitization protocols as per the Ministry of Health to ensure a safe environment
- If you need COVID tests upon entry to your country, we have an on-call physician that can come to the property for testing and results sent in English.
