We are excited to announce Zūnya’s first co-creation with L.I.F.E (love intelligence for evolution). A 3-week summer camp designed for families that will activate both children's and adults' energy centers with an intellectual, physical, energetic, and personal experience.
Adults have the opportunity to enjoy a relaxing time during the kid's program, as well as join in on certain activities in the schedule.

A 4.5-hour curated program from 8:30 AM to 1:00 PM for kids running Tuesday-Saturday:

Each human being is constituted by 7 main energy centers related to different body organs, neurons, colours, elements, and qualities. These centers create the way we look at and live life, from the capacity to feel safe, confident, and part of a tribe (red superpower), to the capacity and understanding of our emotions (orange), our personal power (yellow), the energy of our heart wisdom (green), our personal truth and expression (blue), our mental capacity and vision (indigo), and our unity with the universe (violet). In children, we call these energy centers the superpowers.
Why are they important?
Activating our superpowers as adults and children will allow us to live life in a healthier, happier, and more conscious way. Our children will enjoy a life experience full of meaning, power, and colour.
Based on the 7 primordial energies that make up our human existence, which are perfectly correlated to the seven most important vibrations of the universe (7 musical notes, 7 colours of the rainbow, 7 days of the week, 7 chakras, and the 7 circles that form the Seed of life) we have developed a model of the “School of LIFE” that allows children of every age to develop in a holistic, conscious and powerfully self-lead road to their highest potential through the deep understanding and mastery of these 6 seeds of life and the most important seed which is LOVE, the origin of life.

We explore the superpowers in an holistic and multidimensional way through:
Physical Body: Circuits, Exercise, Yoga, Dance. Nature Play. Cooking class.
Emotional Body: Art (dance, paint, sing, sculpt), Stories, Sensory Activities. Free Play.
Energetic Body: Meditations, mindfulness activities, cacao ceremonies. Nature connection.
And the best part is that parents will also be invited into three weekly activities to activate their superpower themselves.
A new educational community based on the premise of being before knowing, L.I.F.E. (Love Intelligence For Evolution) seeks to transform educational paradigms and sow seeds of awareness, love, and wisdom in both Spanish and English-speaking children, parents, and teachers.
L.I.F.E. focuses on shifting the old model of doing + having = being to one of being + doing = having. Children at L.I.F.E. will grow to be agents of evolution and discover their higher life purpose, one that is aligned with humanity’s higher wellbeing. They work to promote and create the right circumstances, spaces, and material sources of inspiration so students can learn via direct experience and acquire expansive knowledge and true wisdom, creating profound emotional engagement in the process of learning, which is based on the interests and aptitudes of each particular student and is accompanied by different mentors.
Paola Beléndez, Co-founder of L.I.F.E. has a career of more than 15 years of experience in human development and spirituality issues. She is also author of the book Volar Despierta, and a mother of three little ones. Since the birth of her first child 6 years ago, she has dedicated herself to transforming educational paradigms that allow children to grow and develop from their unlimited potential.
Children between 4 and 11 years old whose parents are engaged in the co-creation of new paradigms of education based on the principles of love, consciousness and the thriving of their children as WHOLE individuals that will grow to be agents of evolution at the time they discover their higher life purpose, aligned with humanity’s higher wellbeing. Upon arrival, you will be immersed in a 33 hectares untouched jungle sanctuary. Located on the southernmost tip of the Nicoya Peninsula, on the Pacific Coast of Costa Rica, and in a small village called Malpais, Zunya is north of the Cabo Blanco Nature Reserve and south of Santa Teresa.
Known for its spectacular beaches, bordered by the crystal waters of the Pacific Ocean on one end, and by a covey of jungle-covered hills on the other, this small town is a natural haven for all. Rich in biodiversity, the region’s unique wildlife is another allure for visitors to enjoy.

Our food philosophy at Nula, Zūnya's kitchen, is centered around a plant-based lifestyle by inviting others to live a more conscious and healthy lifestyle and presenting new ways of treating our planet and our body. All this while creating delicious and beautiful dishes. Nula is a sacred place for people to go and feel inspired about a meal; it is also a home for those who love Mother Nature and are deeply interested in caring for and protecting her. It's about feeling nourished, loving, and caring for yourself and others. Neighborhood farmers markets are the inspiration behind each plate and local gardens can bring something collectively to the table.

- We require families to join for a minimum of 1 week. However, we really recommend that families to immerse themselves in the 3-week journey to receive the fullness and benefits of this experience.
- Travel insurance is needed to enter Costa Rica during the time of your stay. We recommend SafetyWing’s nomad insurance, however, please read the requirements to enter the country
- We follow cleansing and sanitization protocols as per the Ministry of Health to ensure a safe environment
- If you need COVID tests upon entry to your country, we have an on-call physician that can come to the property for testing and results sent in English.
